Hi Leah & Gloria,

Thank you! You have both given me a lot of info on Mayo. I would truely love to find one that tastes good that doesn't upset me. I have tried making my own. Have made 3 batches that came out good (but all were heavy on mustard). One other just didn't blend and I had to trash it. And the shelf life of home made mayo is short, so I end up having to throw a lot away. Will definitely check out the recipes on Dee's to see if I fall in love with one of them. That could make it worth it. Will also try to find the ready made ones.

I've actually been trying to follow the diet since April 8, but didn't start keeping a food diary until May 9. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what is going on with me. Lately it seems that no matter what I plan for meals to take to work, I end up with abdominal pain within two hours of having lunch. I do have known inflammation in my stomach. So is that pain from my stomach inflammation or from my CC. I am just so tired of it.

Today I ate at noon and have been in pain ever since. Really need to get MRT or Enterolab testing.

So sorry you are feeling so crappy Marion :( If you have the money, I would get the enterolab tests. I think it will give you a much better idea of how to plan your meals.

Marion,

I have that kind of stomach pain pretty often. In my case I discovered that taking Betaine HCl helped. Apparently many of us are actually low on acid (rather than high as so many doctors these days seem to think), and adding acid helps relieve the pain. You might try that - remember to check for gluten, dairy, and soy before you buy.

Best wishes!

Hi Deanna,
I have to be honest with you. I have never heard of Betaine HCl. I'll have to look it up. Would love to have more pain free days.
