My girls are home safe & sound!

What an ordeal to get them home. Josh decided to take off with Kylee the day before they were supposed to fly home. His family wouldn't answer their phone and Josh didn't answer his. Ashlee was beside herself. I finally called from work and since they didn't recognize the number they answered and I spoke to Josh. I told him to call Ashlee as she was ready to call the police. He didn't bring her home until 11:00 that night.

She had angels watching over her, things fell into place after that and they were finally on the plane headed for home.

Ashlee said Kylee has done a 180 degree turn since they got here. She is soooo happy, loving and playful. In Hawaii she whined and cried ALOT! with all the stress and craziness in the household its no surprise she was miserable.

She was most excited to see Lexie.....she was a little leary of grandma & grandpa at first. One look at Lexie and she was laughing, throwing her arms and kicking her legs in excitement. Lexie got all the hugs and kisses.
She has changed so much in just two months. She left a baby and came home a little girl. Ashlee is such a good mommy and has grown up a little more. I am glad she went to HI. She needed to have that experience and now learn from it.

I don't have much time anymore but will check in as much as possible.

Thank you all for your support these past few months. I sure do appreciate it.

I doesn't sound like the best setup over there...I am glad they are home, safe and sound and I'll bet you are the happiest grandma in the Pacific northwest right now! Enjoy that baby!

Lori, you sound so excited to have your girls home with you at last. Sounds like you had a bit of trouble getting them back though. Sometimes out children have to learn on their own just where they should really be, I am just glad that Ashley is safe with you now. Seeing Kylee must be heaven for you right now. Pictures, I want pictures.

Hi Lori,

I am so glad they have finally arrived at home and enjoy every single second you have with them. Do you think they are intending to stay here? I know what it is like to have a grandchild so far away from you. I miss our Gabrielle every day and it will be August again before we see him and his new sibling arriving in May.
