If you're having symptoms, it would probably be a good idea to talk to your doctor about the possibility of switching BP meds. The article talks about celiac symptoms, but MC symptoms are exactly the same as celiac symptoms, so I would assume that those patients actually were showing MC symptoms, not celiac symptoms. The doctor was just unfamiliar with MC.
Stopping the use of a drug that triggers MC can stop MC symptoms, but the only way to stop celiac symptoms is to stop ingesting gluten, and the article makes no mention of anyone cutting gluten out of their diet.
