What a day...

I had just about perfect weather, it was warm, sunny and not too humid at all.

It was about a 2 hour drive out to Brattleboro Vermont, where I had the privilege of meeting with another great PP member Jean (JFR) We could have talked for days as the hours we spent together flew by. It never ceases to amaze me what a wonderful set of folks we have here on this site.

Jean made a absolutely wonderful lunch of lamb and Kale chips, it was heavenly. Armed with her recipe, I stopped at the market on the way home for the ingredients. The meal was great and settled incredible well and the company was exceptional.

Nestle was very happy to meet Theo, Jean's dog, I'll let Jean tell us about the breed. Theo was great and accepted both Nestle and I into thier house for the great visit. Personally it was a great day of meeting with another PP member and of course some great photos. Here are a few.

Thanks Jean for a great day, it was quite welcomed.

I agree. Great day. Joe is as nice in person as he is on this forum. I didn't join this forum to make friends but it sure is a nice added benefit. It was also nice to share food with someone who appreciates simplicity. Dogs and people all got along splendidly. Theo is a Coton de Tulear, the royal dog of Madagascar. They make the perfect apartment dog, friendly and not very noisy, about 12 pounds. Now he fast asleep, recovering from all the day's excitement.

Georgeous scenery, beautiful pets. It's nice to see Jean up close, too. Joe, do you have a bumper sticker which proclaims you as the Potty People Ambassador? What do you think, gang - should he get one?

Absolutely beautiful pictures! You both look terrific, as do the dogs. Joe, can't wait to meet you on Friday. I need to try to figure out how to post my picture on my profile so you know what I look like!! How about this, Fiona weighs around 50lbs. and looks like a brown poodle. I'll be looking for your Nestle.

Gorgeous! You both look terrific (as do the doggies!) I just knew you would enjoy each other's company!

And YES to Gloria's suggestion!

Love,

Polly

Polly & Gloria, I'm not sure about the title of ambassador, I just like meeting people and finding safe food. Beyond that, this is an exceptional family that we have here.

Thanks Lesley, it was a good day and the dogs got along great, I think Nestlé is having more fun than I am. Although she was tired today.

Brandy the rest of the week looks good, today I had a couple of friends over and nestle caught up on her rest. She did act tired after a long day yeaterday.

Tommorow I'm off to visit with NancyL and her husband for some photos at a local conservation park and then Nancy is putting together a meal.

Friday it's off to Maine to meet with Cathy and get some of that famous New England 'Lobstah' :-) Cathy has found an outdoor restaurant that the dogs can come to on their outside dining area. After that I think I'm going to rest for the weekend, I have to catch up on my cooking and get some rest before returning to work.

Overall this has been a great week so far, it was great to visit with Jean and I'm looking forward to the other visits.
