private message query

Post by Sheila »

Help please. I can't figure out how to send a private message. It is probably staring me in the face but I just don't see instructions for how to do it.
Thanks

Sheila,

At the bottom of each message you will see 4 little boxes . . . the one that says PM is for private messages.

Sheila,

To add to what Mary Beth said, be sure to pick a post written by the member to whom you intend to send a PM. Then as Mary Beth said, just click on the button at the bottom of the message that says "pm" and the system will open a new window where you can compose your message. When you finish writing, just click on the "Submit" button below the box.

Thank you. Mary Beth was the person I wanted to contact and she also answered my question. :grin: I didn't know that I would have to respond to her e-mail. THanks for that info also.

Not e-mails -- the buttons are at the bottom of all of the regular posts that she has written on the board.

For example, if you were to click on the "pm" button at the bottom of this post, the system would open a window to allow you to send a PM to me. The "pm" button is the third one from the left.

Got it and hopefully I'll remember it. There are no guarantees with my memory these days.
