Paleo Comfort Foods cookbook is a winner, IMO.

Post by carolm »

Hi all,
I ordered the cookbook Paleo Comfort Foods after falling in love with the Morning Glory Muffins (which are also a BIG hit with my family. I had to make a batch and send them back to KC with my daughter last week).

I found I could order the Kindle version of the cookbook from Amazon and download it to my computer, which was great because it was cheaper -- $10-- and I generally read recipes off of my computer anyway.

I made the sausage with sawmill gravy using my own homemade turkey sausage and it was w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l. A REAL keeper. Can't wait to make it for my husband. Yesterday I made the fried chicken. I liked it and thought the coating would work even better for fish. The coating stays on well, uses almond flour, and the recipe's spices would be easy to tweak to your liking. I have a list of other dishes to try from there (chicken pot pie, barbequed ribs, fish tacos, lemon bars, basic bread loaf, etc) but I have to say that if you are eating Paleo this is well worth a look, IMO.
