Hi Family,
The lotronex the Gastro prescribed is here and I'm torn as what to do. I have been on many things in the past 2 years with none working. The exceptions seems to be lomotil taken with immodium and questran. Along with the diet changes you have suggested I HAVE been able to cut my soft D down from 9 to 15 a day to firmer 6 to 8 a day. Should I accept this.
Even as Im writing this I know I must try this medicine overcome my fear of it and hope for the best.
Have any of you been on it, any success or problems.
Thanks again for letting me say this don't know what day I will start it but I will keep you all informed.

To the best of my knowledge, no currently active member of this board has ever used Lotronex to treat MC.
