So sorry to hear about the steam burns but I am right there with you by putting too many in the oven and having the steam slap me down. Aloe Vera is my go to but I use it directly from the plant.

That's terrible! I've almost done that more than once. Another warning but for Nesco users. I like to bake large batches of chicken breast. The steam coming out of that is pretty terrible too. I usually run for the cool water; so far, it's been working but I've never been blistered like that.
I love the idea of using a 6-slice toaster oven for roasting veggies. Smart!
