I burned my face with steam from oven

Charlotte,

So sorry to hear about the steam burns but I am right there with you by putting too many in the oven and having the steam slap me down. Aloe Vera is my go to but I use it directly from the plant.

Charlotte I am very sorry to hear about this, steam burns do hurt and I cant imagine one on my face. I am glad that your eyes were protected.

That's terrible! I've almost done that more than once. Another warning but for Nesco users. I like to bake large batches of chicken breast. The steam coming out of that is pretty terrible too. :shock: I usually run for the cool water; so far, it's been working but I've never been blistered like that.

I love the idea of using a 6-slice toaster oven for roasting veggies. Smart! :smile:

Hi Charlotte,

Hope you are recovering okay! Truly roasting veggies or grilling veggies are the best ways to cook veggies! I like the Roasted Vegetable cookbook by Andrea Chesman. It doesn't have much in the way of photos but it is good for technique. Brandy
