Full of Turkey

Hi Everyone:

Well, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are eating leftovers today. So great to have all the family together, even if it was a bit noisy and tiring, it was well worth it.

I have some news!!! John and I booked a cruise to Alaska for Aug. 20/06. I'm so excited and looking forward to it. It will be nice to be pampered some. It looks like I won't have to have my left knee replacement until 2007. I will know for sure on Oct. 21, when I go back to see the ortho, but he thinks the right knee is bearing more weight now and taking the pressure off the left one, slowing down the progress of the deterioration. Gosh, it would be nice to have a rest in 2007 after all the things going on this year. I'm pretty tired.

It was a beautiful day and I was out scooting around enjoying it.

In B.C. the teachers have gone on strike, so it's really hard on the parents and kids. They've only been off for two days and it's already getting hard for them. I feel sorry for them.
My 11 year old grandson, Kevin, went to work for his Mom today and worked really hard, but got tired. She works close to us, so we picked him up until she got off from work. Luckily, we live only 5 minutes from where she works, so can help some. My granddaughter, Sara, is 15, so they can stay home alone, but for others with younger children, it's very hard. I hope they can settle it soon.

Well, back to work on my crafts.

Take care - Love - Momster

So glad you had a wonderful Image Image!

Your trip sounds great! My in-laws went on a cruise to Alaska a few years ago and loved it! Remember to take lots of pictures!
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

If you need anyone to carry your bags, you just give me a call, okay?

I would love to get to Alaska some day. Next summer our plans are to go to Disney with the kids though. They are at the perfect age for it right now.
