Anti-Inflamatory Food List

Post by humbird753 »

Many of you probably already know about these anti-inflamatory foods. It is something I found today which I found interesting, and wanted to share it with those who don't know about these foods.

I was also expecting to find "beets" on this list, as I have heard a lot about the benefits of beets lately.

Paula,

I think lists like this are on the right track. Reducing inflammation is definitley our goal. But the problem with generic, "one size fits all" lists is that we all respond differently to foods. When I was at my sickest some foods that really triggered me were blueberries, almonds, spinach and turkey . . . all considered to be anti-inflammatory. MRT and Enterolab point us in the right direction, but there is still much to learn about inflammation. That being said, at least people are waking up to the fact that food often triggers adverse reactions.
