THURSDAY Evening and a Question---Important!!

Post by barbaranoela »

And the rains have stopped!!!! so far!!!!

Anyway I went in to the beauty shoppe to get my hair rearranged--

:yikes: said *sue*, the gal who cuts my hair, WHAT did U do??? Said I, * I cut some bangs*?
Well ,says Sue, your bangs dont start from the back of your head!!! hahahaha-----but she is a magician---and she fixed me up!!!

That should be the worst of issues----HUH!!!

Anyway the Q. is----Lou is taking UROCIT-K(potassium citrate) started @ 2 a day and then increased to 4 a day----and since the increase he has become VERY VERY nasty----can this stuff cause a change in a persons personality???
Testy over everything---

Called the Dr. (who wasnt in) but they got hold of her and he went in for some-more blood work-ups-- and will go in tomorrow for a check!!!!

Boy, I tell U all--no matter what he has been thru, I have never seen this side of him!!!
So I tippy-toe around--thanks for any info on this med.

Hope to see the sun tomorrow---

Gee Barb....I don't know. But I have heard of some meds causing personality changes in people. My dad had a reaction to something like that...don't remember what it was tho. And every time he had a mini stroke his personality was grumpy for a few days. I'd sure ask someone at the Doctor's or the hospital tho. Love Oma

I researched Urocit and didn't find anything about personality changes. It did say to avoid salt and drink lots of water.

Glad your hair came out ok! Those hairdressers seem to work miracles don't they? Mine hates it when I take the scissors to my hair - she threatens to cut my hands off!

Love ya!
