I could swear very loudly!!!

In the words of Victor Meldrew "I do not believe it!!" Yesterday, I had a dull ache in the ascending colon - today noticeable pain! Given this has happened twice since April I know I have another impaction - yet I have been pooping for Ireland! So in addition to Asacol and Budesonide I am having to put macrogol back in the mix and as yet nothing has happened after 3 sachets. Will this ever end? :toilet: Everytime I start to feel better, something happens and I get set back again. I will be having a serious discussion next week when I see the GP! Sorry to rant but ARGH!!!

Bummer! The budesonide might be contributing to that problem. Are you by any chance taking any narcotic-based painkillers? They're notorious for causing impaction problems.

I hope it resolves soon.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

The macrogol is finally working and no, no pain killers other than paracetamol! I have upped the amount of water I am drinking and I think that is also helping! At least the pain has eased!
