Thanks Lesley, Granny, Anne and Tex

Your quite welcome Jenny, it's great to be able to share with a group like this :-)

Tex & Granny I used to live in Austin in the late 80's and I think I forgot how hot it can get here. I've been spoiled in the mountains of Colorado and New England since then. This summer in New England the weather was pretty much what you had here this week in Texas, thats hot for us.

I will say this, since MC I just dont tolerate the heat and humidity that well anymore, mostly the humidity, that just takes it out of me.

This morning Joe get his official commission as a Lieutenant at an outdoor ceremony, after that I'll take him wherever he wants to go, to get whatever he wants to eat...I also bought him an IPad and and iBook air laptop as presents, he has been trying to save up for those for a while. The Skype functions so well on those which will be great to keep in touch with him wherever he goes.

Wonderful pictures, Joe.

You know your son loves you when he gives you the old "horns on the head". We have a few pictures like that, meant to be dignified, and one of the kids does the "horns" thing. I love it!
