Hi everybody,
don't mind the errors in my writing, I'm from Belgium.
I've had abdominal pains, feeling naussious, having diarhia, ... for 12 years. Last year I heard the diagnosis: Lymphocetic Colitis.
I've started with Budenofalk, but ever since November I've been really sick during two weeks a month.
How long does it take for the Budenofalk to kick in? Is there anybody who is no longer sick for a longer period of time?
I've also changed my diet, but there's almost no variety in it because I'm afraid of being sick again.
Ps: budenofalk = entocort 3 mg.
Kind regards,
Julie

It doesn't matter how many times you fall, but how many times you get up en go for it again. HOPE !!!!
Hi Julie,
Welcome aboard. Yes, I've been in remission for over 8 years now, and so have others here. We did it by changing our diet, and continuing to fine tune what we eat. We have to avoid even tiny traces of the foods that cause us to react, so most of us do our own cooking and some of us rarely eat out because of the risk of cross-contamination.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
