I'm BAAA AAACCCKKK ~ Hiya Potty People!

Post by IslanderAnnE »

Hi Everyone,
Well, Facebook connection with Polly prompted me to return to the board, since I have yet to meet Norman. For those that haven't met me... I'm a 51yo female with CC, Hashimoto's Thyroid, Asthma, Excema,Chronic Depression, and form kidney stones from time to time :) Don't I sound like a barrel of laughs! One of the original group on Sally's board, I think of you guys often and think it's time to get back on track and try to work on finding Norman again. Diagnosed in '98 with MC. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello AnnE,

It's great to see you back again, and I certainly hope that we can help you locate Norman. I've always enjoyed reading your posts (though I haven't seen but two in the last seven years).

Welcome back,
Tex (Wayne)

Hi AnnE,
Welcome back. I hope you can find some help here, but if nothing else you will find plenty of support. As I am sure you already know.

I see you're from PEI. My husband is from NB, not too far from the bridge to PEI. He's from Sackville.

AnnE,

Well, that was quick!! A hearty :welcome: back to one of the pioneers from Sally's old website. Lots of new Potty People, info and experiences for you to catch up on. For those who are wondering, AnnE capitalizes the E in her name to alert those who might otherwise assume she is just an "Ann". Tee Hee.

I spent a lovely day with AnnE at her home on PEI some years ago. Among other things, she served those fabulous Prince Edward Island (PEI) mussels for lunch - they had been fresh-caught just hours before (I think by her hubby - is that right?). Anyway, ever since then whenever I have seen PEI mussels on a menu, I have avoided them. No way they could ever measure up to the real deal! Also, when we left, AnnE gave me a loaf of GF bread that she had baked for me. It was yummy!

I hope it won't be long until Norman visits.

Love,

Polly

I truly love PEI. Beautiful, great golf and yes....the mussels! That is the only place I have been that offered your choice of salad or mussels with dinner. Welcome again, AnnE

Welcome Back Anne!

It has been so long but have thought many times about how you are doing. Yep! Norman sure can be elusive. Some of us oldies still are here.

Love, Maggie
