new to this forum, did not really think of this
Hi, I've has mc for 12 years, also have acid reflux and was just tested for celiacs , oh yah, I am also lactose intolerant, is there anything good to eat or drink out there? It feels like I have to give up everything, thanks ahead of time for any help.
Hi,
Welcome to the board. Newbies to the board always ask that question. Actually, by being creative, it's almost always possible to eat a very tasty and nutritious diet, even with severe diet restrictions. One of our members, who is a professional chef, has compiled several hundred gourmet class recipes that do not include gluten, dairy, or soy ingredients. She also lists substitutes for other food sensitivities. Be sure to read the ingredient lists carefully, though, because other members have also added recipes to this forum, and we don't all have the same sensitivities.

There are a lot of commercial GF products these days, of course (and you can find many past discussions about them here on the board), but many of us have found that we can't tolerate some of them, until we have been in stable remission for a while, and some of us can never tolerate them. Also, many commercial GF products have a problem with cross-contamination.
Again, welcome aboard, and please feel free to ask anything.
Tex
P. S. You'll find that most discussions take place on the "Main Message Board", and that's the best place to get to know everyone here:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
