What a beautiful Fall Day!
Hi everyone!
Well, Fall is definately here! It is 51 degrees here this morning (it was 48 when I got up!) The sun is shinning, the sky is blue and the leaves are changing to a wonderful mix of reds, yellows and orange! We are almost at our peak fall colors in North Eastern Ohio.
is almost upon us and the grandkids are getting excited. Jordan will of course be a Princess and Bryce is going to be the HULK. Boys!
I'm hoping to get some work done today around the house. I'll do as much as I can with this bum wrist. I'm wearing the wrist splint as much as I can but it seems to bother me if I wear it too long. I especially wear it at night so that I don't continually wake up from bending it wrong.
I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. I'm off to get something done before the Browns play at 1:00!

Hi Mars,
It is a beautiful day, isn't it. It's a bit warmer here, (low to mid 60s this morning, and it may reach 90 this afternoon), but still a beautiful Indian Summer day. I hope that recalcitrant wrist lets you take advantage of the nice weather, to do what you want to do today.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

DITTO--Mars and Tex
A gorgeous day here also--
Tis 60 degrees---with a wisp of winds---and Mars/Tex the colors of autumn are magnificent---we started losing tree leaves early but its fun to walk thru them and hear the hustling sounds they make~~~~ and it is almost like listening to
We just got a warning, over the TV, severe high winds to be in force till 6pm tonight--
Yet, there is always sad news ,on any given day, and that is the school band bus crash, coming home from a competition, that collided head on with a semi~~~~ no other info as of yet---
And Mr. Louie is still *hyper* so LadyBarbara is keeping clear by cleaning out her closets--
Makes a pile to go---takes a look and says---NAH--- hangs em back up--
Have a great Sunday

Been busy - Got some work done and put up a few Halloween decorations. Jordan was here and excited that they were up for her to see. Three years old is such a fun time with kids!
Getting cloudy and the wind has picked up quite a bit. Still doing laundry but the wrist has given up on me! Gonna rest for awhile!
P.S. - Polly - The BEST team isn't winning - The Ravens are just playing a team that's asleep! Tee hee

Was a "beautiful" day here too! I put that in quotes because it was very windy and cloudy all day, but its the first day in 9 that it hasn't rained! I got the rest of the bulbs I had bought planted. Should look quite nice come spring. We also built a leaf man with the girls today and put it out by one of our big maple trees in the front yard. Had the first fire in the wood stove today too. Felt good, although ironically felt too warm to me when the house hit 65. I've gotten used to having it in the 50s.
Also dug up my carrots today. Got about 5 very tiny ones. They hadn't germinated well (cold wet spring), and then they got burried by the bionic tomato plants I had this year. While out there I grabed a weed without realizing it had prickers. I think it may have been a small nettle too because my hand has not stopped stinging yet. Ah well, live and learn.

Could I be allergic to weeds?
It has been simply gorgeous here in Utah. Perfect weather and temperatures with clear blue skies. Our silver maples are at their peak. My husband mowed, raked and swept Saturday. Our property looked pristine.
But, by Monday, the leaves were falling like rain to the utter joy of our children. If only I could have recorded the picture for you as it warms my heart. There was 5 year old Sarah full with happiness and giggles in the middle of a large pile of leaves that her 11 yo brother had raked up. She was wearing peachy pink and coral colors as the warm sun low in the Western sky cast an orange light on all while dozens more fall leaves floated down from the trees above.
Funny, after pulling asters and other weeds I took on a terrible mood. This morning I realise a pattern. Weeding before dinner. I go into a terrible mood through dinner. Then, retreat to the bathroom where I have diarrhea and take a bath only to find my skin covered with rash.
