Bloody Doctor!
I wrote to him to ask about possible megacolon.
His answer: DRUGS!
"I reviewed your medications And it seems that you have not tried Amitiza , lubiprostone to treat the constipation . I would start with The lowest dose 8 mcg twice A day every other day and if not effective then use daily It may also decrease bloating".
Those bloody things are contraindicated for anyone with diarrhea. I alternate between the 2. So Amitiza is guaranteed to cause diarrhea.
WHAT A CROCK OF shi* - If I may be crude!
BTW Tex, I told him and regular doc about your book. Neither of them related to it.

People who already know everything there is to know about a subject are never interested in wasting their time learning more about it.Lesley wrote:BTW Tex, I told him and regular doc about your book. Neither of them related to it.
And a lot of doctors are certainly not interested in reading anything written by someone who is not a doctor. That's beneath their professional dignity.
Tex
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I agree, but I also feel we need to always keep in mind that there are also many good doctors in this world..... on this board, working in the world's hellish places, challenging (profit driven) orthodoxy......
