Advice Please!
I just went through a very bad flare after some bad meat.... initially 30-40 times a day of WD. First the severe pain stopped.
Then the frequency slowed. Finally this week I felt like the worst of it was over....maybe D 3-4 times a day.
Yesterday my son was severely hurt in a construction accident....they're working to save his foot. So far my
digestive system has been okay (I haven't eaten much though). Earlier I posted that I was having essential
tremors. They got a whole lot better when I started on NDT thyroid meds. When I got the news yesterday
I was trembling so badly I could hardly function....it's got to be my adrenals. I took an adrenal support today
(rhodiola rosea) and had some red wine tonight and I'm doing better. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Deb,
I'm sorry to hear about the accident. I truly hope that the doctors will be able to save his foot.
Nearly everyone is subject to tremors in response to such a stressful situation, so it's not surprising that they would reappear.
Are you aware that there is a link between vitamin D and tremors?

Also, remember that there is a link between gluten-sensitivity and tremors. I had the problem a few years ago, which I'm convinced was due to gluten damage to my brain and central nervous system. I believe that I may have had the problem when I was low on both vitamin D and B-12. Since then I've been taking Metanx (a prescription mix of the active forms of vitamin B-12, vitamin B-9, and vitamin B-6), and plenty of vitamin D, and the tremors have never returned.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Lord, I just ask, in your Mighty Name, for a perfect and speedy healing for Deb's son. Jesus, surround Deb's son with compassionate, caring and competent doctors and nurses. Guide their hands and minds as they work on his foot. I ask, in your Holy Name, for guardian angels to cover her son and protect against any infection or disease.
Deb, tremors are no fun. There are many natural products you can use to help calm your nerves. Green tea is one. Magnesium and calcium is another. Gaia products make a natural adrenal support that you can find at any health food store.
Rest is your best friend right now. Try to be asleep by ten pm if possible. It has been found that most of the body's healing is done around 11-2 at night.
God bless you and your son!

Thank you all for the prayers and support. I really appreciate it. He's scheduled for a 2nd surgery today.
Tex and Mandy, thanks for the suggestions. I just upped my vitamin D because it's fall and I'm getting less sun. I've been afraid to ingest magnesium (except for my electrolyte mix) because of my symptoms and have been using the spray but it might be okay now. I think I need to resupply my B12 which I've been out of for a month and drink more green tea! Thanks again. I'm feeling better this morning. Deb
