Both types of MC are known to resolve spontaneously in a majority of cases.

While it's possible to develop a tolerance to gluten both in the case of celiac disease and MC, that's certainly not the rule. Only a minority ever develop a tolerance to food sensitivities, and they still continue to produce antibodies in their intestines, and the physical damage continues to accrue to their digestive system, despite the lack of clinical symptoms.
