Hi,

DebE13, I cannot drink the flavored coffee, they use artificial flavor and sweeteners and that causes D for me. I have 1 cup of regular coffee (I used to have 4+) and I water it down a bit.

Good Luck,
Hugs,
K

I've tried sprite & ginger ale but the sweetness upsets my stomach even more. I don't think coffee is a problem & it's literally been the last thing I have left that I actually enjoy. I don't miss soda at all but I do miss fruit juices to add some variety. I should just suck it up and see if corn or rice is a problem. I used to think soy didn't bother me & it turned out to be a biggie. I wasn't able to pin point it at the time but now I can relate it to an immediate stomach ache.

So, after eating the same thing pretty much day after day....Friday, I went to Trader Joes and got their uncured hotdogs, and udis buns. I had some olive oil potato chips. They were both so good.

Saturday I went to a cafeteria and had fried chicken,( I took the crispy off), some sort of overcooked beef, green beans, carrots and peas.
But wait there is more, on Sunday I went to a Spanish tapas resturant and had salmon, roast beef, mussels with spanish rice, about 4 leafs of spinach salad, about 4 olives, some marinated red peppers and sauted brocoli with mushrooms. Oh and a Sprite with lime.
Yesterday, I made lentil soup, with carrots, onions, kale, cabbage, and a few tomatoes.
All of these foods were way off the charts of my usual.

I have been juicing at least once if not two times a day and having pretty much roasted chicken and rice, mushrooms and onions. This is the day after day meal....
This morning, I had a 4 on The Bristol Stool chart....go figure....This the best it has been since April when I started with the D.
Thanks for all the support here on this site and letting me tell my tale :-)

Pretty amazing, Mickey. It sounded like a feast to me. I'm glad you're improving.
