Fell at work today
One of the girls that mopped the floor today forgot to put up Wet floor signs...of course Oma decides to go to the front and slipped on the wet tile and fell. I filled out an incident report. I don't think I was hurt but I said on the report that I had no injuries at this time. ANyway leaves it open in case I have a problem later......and the bad thing is 5 days ago I fell on a wet floor...same situation I am sore but I don't think I hurt anything. Then just minutes later....another employee fell in a different part of the store. The tile they put in is extremly slick when wet. So Oma is a wee bit sore tonight. Mike will be home tonight. He said he's here til my surgery is over and I am out of the hospit and home. If he has to leave and go out of town...me and the dogs will go to Sil's house. More room and she said she would take me to all my rehab appts anyway. Well See ya all later Love Oma 5 more sleeps

That's all you need when you are about to go for an op like you are.
You would think that they would be thinking about replacing the tiles if they are that dangerous when wet or at least resurfacing them. Really negligent of them and foolish especially in this day and age of litigation. Hope your soreness is gone soon and there is no permanent damage.
Love

Good grief, Oma! I am in total agreement with Liz. That is very dangerous and I can see a lawsuit from some one coming. Are these tiles in an area that the public walks on?
I am very glad that you don't think you are hurt. With your surgery just around the corner, you don't need that. I wish you well and hope that everything goes as smooth as goose grease. You will be in my thoughts for the next few weeks. I will burn lots of sage.
Lots of love,
Sally

Thank you Sally....I would appreciate you burning sage for me...I value the prayers of my exstended family here on the board. The tiles are definately where the public walks...so it's in the odds that someone, employee or public will fall and sue. I can't believe they put something like that in the store. Dumb planning. Love Oma
