Deb,

Hoping and praying that the second surgery will go well :xfingers: , and so glad to hear you're feeling a bit better today.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Deb, I also hope his second surgery goes well for him. Do they think you had Salmonella poisoning from the meat? Your reaction to it sounds very much like mine when I got poisoned from chicken.

Please keep us updated when you can.

Hi all and thanks for all your concern. The second surgery was basically to clean things up. There was too much swelling for reconstruction...hopefully Tuesday or Thursday. Meanwhile, his spirits are good and I know all the prayers have helped.

Connie, I really don't know what was wrong with the meat other than I noticed a bit of an "off smell" when it was cooking. I should have stopped there. It definitely wasn't undercooked. DH had maybe part of a day with a little distress......mine lasted six weeks. Jeesh! I've never been overly concerned about stuff....raw eggs, etc. but if my system can get so far out of whack I guess I better be more cautious. Deb

I am so sorry to read all this. I will light a candle for you and your family. As far as your health questions, I can't help you. I've been diagnosed just one year ago and I am still searching. I wish you and your family the best.

Julie
