imodium plus

hi, just wanted to say I find imodium PLUS so much better than plain imodium. In the past in a flare I would take imodium if I really had to but it did nothing for the bloating , wind ,cramps etc, well last week we had my sister in law to stay and she is very depressed due to a 30 year marriage ending so I wanted to take her out on intresting touristy trips each day to help her relax, on one of the days I had little food choice and although not glutened my bowel was bad, gassy, loud noises etc, I was worried I would let her down so took an Imodium Plus, much to my surprise it got rid of all the above, I didnt have D anyway I was just worried I would, I didnt expect it to have such a calming effect,I plan to keep them handy from now on even though I am normally so well these days with the antihistamine Beni

I agree Beni, for the few times I've used it I've found Imodium Plus to be very calming, more so than plain Imodium.

I use the Imodium multi symptom which I think is the same as the plus. Meaning it helps with diarhea along with gas, bloating and cramping.

I used Imodium AD and it has helped with the gas, bloating, etc. I don't know if it's the plus or not.

I've noticed that when I do take regular Imodium, I get a little bloated or get a full feeling. I'll have to try the Plus next time. Thanks for letting us know!! Imodium works wonders for me!

I didn't know either so I searched it; apparently it's also got Simethicone in it - like Gas-X!
