Is "Norman" on its way???

Post by humbird753 »

Hi everyone,

I had a great day. My husband and I even went golfing.

When I came to this forum the end of November, 2011, I was having D 20 to 30 times a day (explosive type). The quantity had decreased to about 5 to 7 times a day. It seemed that I had to go within an hour after every meal. I have noticed that there have been days when I have only gone 2 to 3 times, and also that it wasn't completely watery and shredded foods. Nothing was formed, but the consistency has had days where it has been thicker.

ANYWAY.... after golfing we had to go get a few groceries. I had to go to the bathroom, and to my surprise when I stood up and turned around I couldn't believe my eyes. Still can't!!! Although there was still shredded things going on, there was also pretty formed stuff there (type 4 on the Bristol chart Mickey had on here).

I have worked so hard and have been pretty disappointed as each month has passed by (real close to 10 months) and I wasn't seeing any improvement visually. It can be discouraging when you eliminate so much from your diet and see no change month after month. Now I think I am beginning to see results.

For those of you who don't know my history, I have chosen to do this with diet only. Believe me, I have questioned that choice many times. I just hope this continues.

After going to the bathroom at the store I told my husband we had to celebrate. We were both very hungry, so.... I decided I wanted to go home to eat. What's the best way to celebrate - do something good for yourself.

I am beginning to believe this can really work.

Although I haven't posted much lately, I have kept up reading here on a daily basis. Thank you all for being here.

And, Kari, if you read this - I have received an email giving results for the parasite test I took. I can't say I understand it. I will be having a phone conference with my ND about it, and I will let you know what it all means.

Anyway - I will keep everyone posted. I hope to meet "Norman" soon!

Hi Paula,

That's great news and certainly calls for celebrating. I'm glad you used good sense and went home to eat. I have a tendency to "shoot myself in the foot" when I get excited.

Thanks for the "heads up" about your test results, and, yes, I would very much like to know what your ND has to say. I'm still struggling, and wondering if there is more going on than food and histamine intolerances.

Wishing you continued success - so glad your patience is paying off!!!

Love,
Kari
