Let us know how it goes Monique. .... and watch the sugar content of what you choose. It will make your blood sugar spike if you are not careful.

Good luck!

Thanks, Leah. I am very cautious with that....

I am trying to figure out what vegetables go with fruits like apples etc...to reduce the glycemic impact. I don't want to concoct some undrinkable potion! I juiced once today, it seems once a day is enough for me. I am eating very little now. I have dyspepsia. I will try vegies tomorrow like kale, zucchinis...let's see how that tastes.

If I didn't have this forum, I know I would have gone plum crazy!

thanks for caring,

Love,

Monique

Monique,

Just wondering how your juicing is going?

Hi Mickey,

Swimmingly well! I love it. I did buy the Hamilton Beach one you recommended (thanks for doing the research for me) and I just ordered it online at WM and it arrived home.

I don't feel so undernourished anymore. I start my day with apples, pears, carrots and sometimes do another later. I tried kale and zucchini but it was a bust for me. It came out really, really "green" tasting. I felt that I was drinking my freshly-mowed lawn. So I fired off an email to Zizzle who gave me some tips on other vegies. I'll try that soon...you have a good tip for me? some good combo that's palatable?

Thanks,

Love,

Monique

Monique,
I do like celery in my concoction, golf ball size beet, (only once a week). It can detox your liver so fast that you can get flu like symptoms. I like half of a lemon and tomato. I do not like cucumber, so I don't use it. I also like ginger and it is good for digestion.
As you can see I don't use fruits except for the lemon.
I am glad you are feeling more nourished, I had an overwhelming sense of more strength and vigor.
I am on day 4 of no Entocort......Tuesday was a little iffy, with about 5 bristol stool chart and today, I was back to 4 on bsc. Fingers crossed......
