Jean- are you able to eat a good variety of foods? I am limited now and only trying it because I'm not sure what else to do. I may be rushing myself but I won't be satisfied until I have some control without using entocort. It may not be possible but grains seemed like the next step in finding the problem.

Cory- it's humbling to have to peek under the lid all the time. I chuckle too because I'm a bit obsessive about cleanliness so it drives me nuts. I always grumbled about pee on the seat from my son. I'd hate to have someone point out poop splashes on the under-lid. It is embarassing but there's not much to do but clean & disinfect. At least it's not on the floor or down my leg! (that's so gross but sadly true)

Deb - I tend to be a better safe than sorry sort of person, plus I don't mind eating only a limited number of foods so right now I am eating only pork and lamb, a few different greens (kale, chard, collards) some nut butters (almond and macadamia) and some berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) I also make a big pot of bone broth every week and have some every day. I am gf/df/sf/ef/. I also am reactive to beef, chicken, rice, potatoes, corn among others. I actually don't mind eating this way. If it means not spending my days in and out of the bathroom 24/7 then it's ok with me. I just made a big batch of sauerkraut and will try that when it's ready. I made some fermented beets and have been drinking the fermenetd beet juice in small quantities without any troubles. So much of this is an attitude thing so I try to focus on being grateful for the better health this way of eating achieves rather than thinking about what I can't have.

Jean- how true with attitude being such a big part of MC. I wasn't ready to try the paleo diet even a month ago. I'm still having WD about 3x a day. I know if eating this way eliminated the D I would be more accepting of the foods I can have. I wonder what my GI would say if I called to make an appointment for an attitude adjustment!
