Just Bought My 2nd Book!

Post by humbird753 »

I just ordered a second book that Tex wrote. A neighbor of mine is having a lot of problems with fibromyalgia, diverticulosis, extreme fatigue (and more). I mentioned the book, and she wanted to buy one. She and her husband have both had their share of health issues which I believe are connected to gluten (and other intolerances). And.... like many of us, she is getting very frustrated with her doctors. She is just getting off her second dose of antibiotics

Thank you again, Tex, for all of your hard work in getting this book published.

Hi Paula,

Well thank you for promoting the book. I hope that your neighbors will be able to benefit from reading it.

Hi Anne,

By "Consultant" I assume you're referring to your GI specialist. I'm anxious to hear about his response, but in all honesty, I'm pretty sure it will be negative. l hope I'm wrong about that, because it would really be great to have a doctor who is willing to view this disease with an open mind.

Thanks, and please let us know how he reacts.

Absolutely Tex - will do! But I think he will be OK - so far I have found him very open minded! He is in his 40s (guessing) and I would say younger end!! But he, and his registrars, have been very willing to listen and because I have "worked" with them, they are on side. Next consultation I will be asking, don't worry and I may even ask him to provide you directly with feedback (can't promise obviously, but no harm in asking!!). And I have just ordered my third copy for my GP!!

Anne,

Wow! What can I say? I certainly appreciate all your efforts to promote the book, and all the work and personal sacrifices you've made in order to help retrain your medical consultants. Positive feedback is always very helpful, and feedback from a physician, especially a GI specialist, would be awesome.
