candida infection in mouth

Post by Julie »

Hi everybody,

I have a candida infection ( a kind of fungus) in my mouth (my mouth is all white and I have the most horrid taste in my mouth).

Apparently, you can get this because of the cortisone in my medicine (Budenofalk, same as entocort). You can also have it on your skin, on or in genetiles and in your intestines. I have a lot of symptoms of a candida infection in my intestines, but I'm not really certain to have this condition because I wasn't tested.

Now, everybody has a little candida but in my case it is more severe, especially in my mouth, and thus I have annoying symptoms.

I am taking medicine for this problem but it doesn't seem to work at all.

I was whondering if anyone else has had this problem? What did you do about it? How did you make the candida infection go away?

Greetings,

Julie

Hi Julie,

Yes, some of us have had problems with Candida. Many mainstream physicians do not recognize a Candida overgrowth as a medical problem, but most naturopaths are familiar with treatments for it. It's possible to treat a Candida overgrowth by starving the fungus. To do this, it's necessary to follow a diet that minimizes sugars (and all carbohydrates, since carbohydrates are complex sugars), because the fungus lives on sugar. It usually takes several months of treatment to get rid of a Candida overgrowth. Some people get a prescription for an oral fungicide at the start, to speed up the process of killing the Candida.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Colloidal silver has helped many with candida. Before you start taking any more meds, check out colloidal silver on google. There is a spray, and liquid you can take. Can't hurt and especially, it could help!
