Saturday.........

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone!

It is a nasty, rainy day here in N central Ohio! Dreary day. I have a birthday party to go to today and a baby shower tomorrow. So much for cuddling up with a blanket and a good movie or a good book! LOL

Hope all is well with everyone!

We are overcast and foggy. I hope it burns off soon. We are taking Kylee to the pumpkin patch. This is her first time, I can hardly wait.

The weather was so nice yesterday my boss let us go home early! We all had a case of spring fever.....it really did feel like spring!

Hugs

30 c (about 90 f) here today and high humidity. This is just the beginning, it is not even summer yet and I think we are in for a long hot summer. The humidity is what makes it so unbearable. 40 plus in a dry climate is not so bad but when you get the high humidity with it it's not so good. That's when they reckon people "go troppo" a bit around the bend :hyper:

Absolutely perfect weather today here as well. Seems as though it's going to continue a while, too. I should be out fertilizing today, but no sitter. May have missed the opportunity as it's pretty late in the year to do that. Sure hope the already damaged oaks will be able to come back strong in the spring with my neglect. It's been really dry with low humidity since Rita, and we were on the dry side of that. Always scares me when there's no humidity OR rain -- fear of fires.
I have been doing a little better with watering the lawn and trees lately at least.
Better go do that now, while I'm thinking about it.

I'm hoping thta the Hill Country will be having nice fall weather through my respite time up there soon. Just the weather by itself is almost respite enough. Beeee-UT-iful!

Enjoy, Luce

Its Sunday and here in West Texas it's very very windy. Cold front has made it here. Like Barb I haven't anywhere to go today...so I am in my sweats and cuddled up with the pups, watching the weather on Wilma....Glad I am no there. Tomorrow I will get my bag ready for the hospital and clean the house as I won't be able to when I get home. Love Oma
