Zonulin question, Polly

Post by Lucy »

Hi Polly,

Do you know if it's very easy to get a zonulin test? I've been thinking that if it's fairly easy, that MIGHT be a good thing to do for us autoimmunies as a screening test at the git-go. That way, we'd know to look for SOME type of sensitivities whether they were included in the usual stool panels or not, and go from there. Does Dr. Fasano do this with a simple blood draw or where is the stuff most easily found in the body?

How are your studies coming along. Seems like I read that you were taking more courses now.

Yours, Luce

Hi there Luce!

OK, you have reminded me that I promised months ago to set up an appt. with Dr. Fasano to discuss his research and how it may relate to MC. I promise to set it up this week. Carrie recently posted that Dr. F. had received FDA approval to proceed with his human studies, so things are moving along.

What questions do people have for me to ask the expert? Speak now or forever hold your peace! LOL!

Love,

Polly

Please add mine to the list. Wasn't hinting, but it's great if you can do it this week.
Thanks, Luce
