Thawed Freezer and cut finger

It's been a great weekend so far......Went out to the barn last night and discovered that the freezer door wasn't shut good and alot of food got thawed. So we tranferred all the food still frozen to the refrid/freezer and put thawed food in the fridge. Today we are BBQ'ing thawed food and then frezzing it for when I am unable to cook. So that worked out ok.....But I was doing dishes and reached in the water and grabed the silverware (forgetting that I put a butcher Knife in there) and wrapped my fingers around the whole fare and cut my left index finger all to heck. I put a about three or four paper towels around it and went in search of mike...he was mowing on his tractor....he saw me with my hand in the air and a rag on it and stopped his tractor.....what are you doing he asked. I said having a part and drinking wine...what the heck does it look like? So he got off the tractor and we went inside. It took about 30 ,imutes to get it to stop bleeding with pressure...but it's ok now. It's not long but is deep. Think it will take my mind off the knee thing Wednesday?? Naw didn't think so. So I started the weekend great. Love Oma
