Vitamin D3 success...
Just wanted to update on my progress with Vitamin D3. I had been having some new symptoms, including a bad metallic taste in my mouth, burning in my gut and frequent belching. Both Gabes and Tex pointed me in the direction of D3 supplements. I have been megadosing D3 for almost 2 weeks and have had major improvement in my symptoms, especially the belching and burning feeling! Thanks so much to both of you. I'd much rather do the Vitamin supplements rather than Zantac. I LOVE this board!

Woo hoo
fantastic news!!!
i can tell when i am not having enough VitD3, as the belching occurs for me too....
our bodies seem to have a great notification message system - once we figure what language it speaks, the conversing is easy.... (it is figuring out what language it is speaking that is the hard part)

i use a sub-lingual form of D3, Bioceuticals (it is avail in the USA, Joe got some via his MRT nutritionist) the advantage of sub lingual over tablet delivery is that sub-lingual is 'first pass' it is absorbed quicker into the blood stream. Tablet form has to go through the digestion, via the kidney to make it into the blood stream.
it comes in 300iu or 1000iu dose (1 drop = dose) so the 1000iu drops make it really easy to have the high doses when needed.
I have a bottle both at work and at home, and take 1 drop (or more if it is required) every 4 - 6 hours
