I second the coconut oil recommendation. It's the only face, body and lip moisturizer me and my kids use. I've told multiple friends and family about the benefits of using it as a face moisturizer (antibiotic properties, so no zits, MCFAs, etc), and they have all converted. It's easy to use (once you get used to it going from solid to liquid when it hits your skin) and CHEAP compared to other lotions and potions.
Regarding deli meats, I use Safeway's Primo Taglio, Boars Head, Deitz and Watsons, and of course, Applegate Farms (which is also casein free for items like salami that usually contain milk). My kids LOVE their turkey bologna.

Here in Denver with the high altitude it is so frightfully dry in the winter when the heat is on it feels like my face might crack and fall off if I don't get moisturizer on right after a shower! Coconut oil is my new BFF for sure.
I always used Neutrogena Sesame Oil (still my favorite product) after a shower while still wet, but now that I am not sure of sensitivities I am afraid to use it. I found an awesome tub of organic coconut oil from Costco and am using it for all my cooking and now for moisurizer too-- thanks to everyone who posts on this subject on the benefits of this incredible product--really loving it!
Thank you,
Pam

Hi, To find Boar's Head sandwich meats go to their site and they have a list of their g-f deli meats and where you can find them. Hormel makes gluten free sandwich meats available in a box at the supermarket. Make sure it has gluten free on the box. They have turkey breast, deli ham, roast beef and cracked pepper turkey breast plus others I have not tried yet. Dietz and Watson also makes g-f deli meats check them online for availability. Jon
Applegate Farms' meats contain carrageenan, an additive which gives some of us a reaction. Dietz and Watson, though GF, also has some ingredients that can cause reactions in some. I can't remember what they are, but check the list of ingredients before buying.
I've never had problems with Boar's head or Safeway's Primo Taglio turkey. For whole turkeys, I buy Honeysuckle and Norbest. I've had problems with Jennie-O and Butterball.
