In the beginning I gave up all thoughts of balanced diet... cut out veggies, fruit and anything with fiber. The very first thing I was told to do was ADD fiber to my diet for D.. and it is absolutely the WORST thing for CC.

Oh Camie. I feel for you. I had to cut out all nightshades at the beginning ( potato, tomato, eggplant, and peppers). To this day, tomato products don't work for me.
If you can afford it, doing the Enterolab testing may be the way to go. Maybe once you get the test results back, you will find out that some of the things you have given up, you can put back in. You might be one of those people who have certain meats you don't tolerate well. :(

Camie,

I had to cut out the potatoes. They've always made me gassy so no surprise there.

I'm looking into the Enterolabs as well. It really helps to figure out early on what we are intolerant to. I think I read where one lady was eating lots of chicken or rice or both and found out she was intolerant to them after doing the Enterolab testing. I keep putting it off cause I'm scared they are going to tell me I'm intolerant to rice or corn and then I'll just go nuts!
