An Excerpt From The Old Board

Post by tex »

Hi All,

While working on some links for another website, I came across this in one of the threads that are archived from Sally's old board:

And now for a story.

A lion woke up one morning feeling very feisty. The first animal he came upon was a Zebra and he roared “I am King of the Jungle why aren’t you?” The Zebra shook and slunk away.

Next he came upon a Gazzell and he roared “I am King of the Jungle why aren’t you?” It tucked it’s tail between its legs and hid behind a bush.

He walked up to a giraffe and roared “I am King of the Jungle why aren’t you?” It lowered its head and slunk away.

As the day went on all the animals ran away when they saw him comming. Near dusk he comes upon a tiny field mouse. Standing right over the top of it he roared “I am King of the Jungle why aren’t you?”

The mouse stands up on its hind legs and in the most pitiful voice says “I’ve been sick”

Wishing you all good health!

Matthew

Somehow, that joke seems appropriate for this disease.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
