Hi,
Its been a while since my last post (re condroitis) well I FINALLY had the Myocardial Perfusion Image done in October and I have just received a letter with my results, good news, all appears to be normal, the ECG event monitor I had for a week also appeared normal but on the on the 24 hour ECG taping it says there were short episodes of Paroxysmal AF which appear to be asymptomatic, its recommended I take Bisoprolol 2.5/mg daily, ( i could do without more meds) and that I will be reviewed in clinic in 6 months.
Just thought I would update and let you know that I am still alive and kicking, GF is going ok ish, but I am now more prone to C now so I have to watch that, and some foods even GF can start a flare but I am learning each day how to stay in control, and try to get a happy medium, not quite got it right yet, but I keep reading all the posts which give me inspiration and keeps me motivated.
good luck to you all, and keep well.
Marg.

Hi Marg,

It's good to hear that the test results were mostly good news. Fine-tuning the diet can be tricky, especially for those of us who are prone to both D and C, but as you continue to gain experience, I'm sure you will eventually be able to optimize your diet.

Thank you for the update, and I hope that your health, and your enjoyment of life, continue to improve.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
