Suze,
I'm in the Hartford area too. Maybe all the horrible roads and potholes caused our MC, lol.

Hi Leah,
You and I are definitely litter mates! We both followed the same Entocorte dosage and schedule and rolled off around the same time. Last year(2011) I went for 6 months and then had a flare up. This time I'm hoping to last longer. I have the diet down better this year and I've learned to cook and freeze meals for work. I only have one or two bowel movements a day now they vary in consistency as does any stomach queasiness. Most days, I am managing okay and when I don't it reminds me of when I used to drink. I would drink, regret the hangover, and then do the same thing the following weekend. The few times I've had headaches, fatigue, and fogginess it's been my own doing. Like you with a piece of chocolate, I will be out with friends and eat some ,greasy french fries, or nibble some nuts .....duh! When I get discouraged, I read a page out of Tex' book and get re-inspired to eat right and feel better.
Recently life has been stressful and yet I'm doing better than last year despite the stress level and that speaks volumes.
How about you Leah? Is it one step forward and two steps backward or are you inching along towards manageability? I always read your posts and you seem to be getting this thing down. I doubt we'll ever have mastered LC but we sure can celebrate our progress and good periods can't we?!!

Congratulations on the birth of your new granddaughter. Grandchildren are the best. It's so great that you get to visit when she's still so tiny. I remember commenting to my husband, as he, I, our son, and DIL were all staring at their new little girl, "It's amazing how 4 adults can be entirely happy just spending hours gazing at a baby."

Gloria,
We've used VRBO (vacation rentals by owner) very successfully on several occasions. The last time we used them was on our spring trip to the East Coast when we rented a small beach house for a week on Tybee Island. Because there are no management layers who get part of the profit, it is usually the most reasonable way to get a nice place. The best part for people like us is that we get a kitchen, so we can prepare our own food :). Depending on the location, anything from a tiny apartment to a big house is usually available.
Love,
Kari
P.S. If you're interested, just google VRBO, or vacation rentals by owner.
