Well had lottsa kids and it was kinda hectic running up and down---so Lou and I sat @ the top of the stairs and waitied for the kids--
We had quite a few---and it really was great---they all were dressed to represent any character U could imagine--
What a great job they did---and the young ladies looked so gorgeous
We had one boy,say 14, who I wanted to punch in the face---little snot nose kid----
Stuck his hand in the pot and grab a bunch of candy---so we said---*would U like to put that all back and take one or two---*
So he made some wise cracks---*like, Im an orphan---and I said if U was my kid U would be an orphan!!!!
One of the most rudest person I ever came across---
And the others were perfectly well mannered kids--
Lucky us---we have a nice pot full of candy left over --
And spoke with our OMA----she sounds good but U can hear the weariness in her sweet voice---and she is knitting away!!! god luve this lady!!
Hopes to be home tomorrow and then proceeds with physical therapy---
Hope it was a fun chat----
till tomorrow--
luve Barbara the (this is such a peaceful icon) I almost feel like I am flying with it~~~~~~

MISSED THE CHAT
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control
Hi Barbara,
Yup, we missed you! I popped in for a while, but I also had kids at my door....dinner in the oven, etc. I had some darling little goblins at my door...cute skeletons, and a darling lion too. The last batch at 9:15 was a group of teeneagers without costumes. I told them that I usually only gave candy to kids in costumes and 2 made some some cracks about being the living dead or something. I gave them candy and sent them on their way.
Have a great day...it's raining cats and dogs here....snow in our mountains too!

Missed you in the chat Barb, maybe next time!
Kids these days seem to be so inconsiderate and down-right rude at times, don't they. Not all of them, but it only takes a few!
How is Mr. Louie doing? Hopefully by his next appointment he won't have any trace of that dag-on stone!
How are you doing? Are you staying out of trouble? Yea, Right! LOL
Gonna go check out the board, - it's been very quiet lately.
Take care of yourself,
Margie

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
I missed it too. WAHHHHH! Well, what topics did we miss? I was answering the door too. The best costumes/makeup were some kids who dressed up like the KISS band members. I'll try to make the next chat. Can always use a good laugh!
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
