I saw that one on Facebook and almost split my sides laughing. Last year one of our members and I decided we couldn't have TG together because we couldn't eat anything in common except pecans. Sort of difficult to base a whole meal on those!

LOL - very funny. My family (who have a similar assortment of food issues) were out of town at my DIL's sister's place, so my S.O. and I were on our own. I had no interest in cooking, as I can't eat any of the traditional foods. We went to a fancy restaurant, where Bill got to have turkey with all the trimmings. I had octopus for appetizer and a chicken leg w/roasted beets and chanterelles for main course. Then to make up for feeling sorry for myself, I had 2 martinis, which went straight to my head (I rarely drink). So I had a fabulous "heady" time  - good thing Thanksgiving only comes once a year :).

Love,
Kari

I had reposted this on Facebook on Thanksgiving, too! My family is the same way, especially my sisters and me. I swear it's all the chemicals, GMOs and food additives we're being fed. We need to go back to our great-grandmothers' way of eating!
