Big Storm...wheee!

Post by JJ »

Hi...thought I'd pop in and say hi....things are brewing in the NW....a big rain and wind storm is coming tomorrow...the weatherman said to have flashlights ready in case of power outages! Our mountains are supposed to get 2 feet of snow by Friday! Some ski areas are opening on Friday...the earliest in years....hope this will make up for the lack of snow last winter. The problem will be getting up to the mountains...if we get that much snow, the roads will be closed for avalanche control....

I have received approval to start a ski program for my school...as if I'm not busy enough! I want to organize a 3 week program on Sundays. That means I will be up at the ski area on Saturday working for the Vashon Island Program and on Sundays as the coordinator for our school program. If I spend any more time up there, I will have to pack my tent, or build an igloo...can't afford a mountain condo, haha. I am going to try to attach a picture of our ski area...I'll see if i can remember how to post a picture...here goes....TTFN...JJ

Brrrrrrrrrrr! That looks cold. Down here in Texas, we don't like to think about snow until late January, or early February.

I'm still trying to get used to the fall weather, with lows in the 40s, and highs in the 70s and 80s. That's cold enough for me. LOL.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
