Dan,
I am inquiring about your Division’s current research on a supplement called AnataBloc/Anatabine. There is lots of stock-related hype on the internet regarding its use as an anti-inflammatory to cure autoimmune diseases, thyroiditis and alzheimers, and Dr. Ladenson’s name is being used as a primary source of legitimacy, yet I don't see this interest listed in his research bio. There are lots of sick people out there in search of reliable information on the web. Does the use of Ladenson’s name to sell this supplement concern you? Is he in fact on the verge of major breakthroughs with this product? (If so, I'd love to hear about it) Or should readers beware? Just thought you’d want to know, in case this is news to your Division. Given the terrible quality of the salesmanship, I'd be concerned about Hopkin's name being affiliated with it. Thanks.
Here are a few examples from a recent thread on Inspire.com by a new member, AdamR, posting exclusively about AnataBLOC on a number of different forums:
Actually believe a lot more being done at John Hopkins. There is a lot going on.

I am amazed you figured this out "smoking is protective of autoimmune diseases, and many autoimmune problems can be triggered when a smoker quits" Congrats. It is Anatabine...... You are part of the 1% that has figured it out.... Ladenson figured it out in the 1980's. Read the summary below for all the research going on.
