GF Breakfast cereals mainstream
I know most chex are GF so is one of the rice crispys, and cocoa pebbles believe it or not, are there any other mainstream (i.e. at most stores and reasonably priced) not cereals that are also GF? I have always been a cereal junkie.
I believe kix cereals are also ok but I'd love to hear other opinions. I've been trying to downscale all of my grain intake so eliminating my bowl of cereal in the morning has been the easiest thing to do. I love cereal too but lost my zest after the hundredth bowl of chex. My favorites were the kashi brands but sadly even though they are healthier they're still off my list.
Doug,
Fruity Pebbles are also GF, but they are mighty sweet. Brands such as Trix, Kix, Cocoa Puffs, and possibly others, do not list any gluten-based ingredients on their label, but they are not labeled gluten free because the manufacturer cannot always verify that they are GF. They're sort of like the products that contain the caveat "Made on equipment that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat", or whatever. With those products usually you win, but sometimes you lose.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
