Hi Lucy,

You make a valid point in that long thread about the other board about all the chit-chat not being MC related, how's a newbie (legit) going to want to be involved. Wow! Thats a hard one and I hope others have some suggestions. We here on this board are predominantly a group who have had the illness and are in various stages of recovery. Some have been in remission for a while, others are well on their way. I guess we are at a point in our lives where MC doesn't rule our lives.

I for one think its great for the newbies to see the posts about us out and enjoying life...enjoying the kids, the pets, the grandkids, taking classes, going birding, etc., etc. What better representation of living on can we get?

However, maybe we need to concentrate some language in the posts for newbies about this issue. Something along the lines of "we love to chat about everything, don't be afraid to post about MC, we've all been there and that is why we are here...to help you find your road to recovery".

What do the rest of you think?
Katy
