Oh gosh, I've kinda taken over this thread....lol! I can't thank you all enough for your prayers. It means so much to me! The last 10 months have been rough but the MC seems to be well managed at the moment. I'm so worried that the antibiotics will set me back. I'm just glad I didn't get this diagnosis back when my MC was active. I will keep you all updated.

Again, thanks so much. I'm so lucky to have this wonderful group of people.

Terri,

What's up, girl? I turn my back for a couple of weeks and what do you do? You have this big drama going on! (I was busy on match.com, haven't found any princes so far, just a bunch of uneducated, clueless, moronic frogs)

You need to take it easy on us, we are all emotionally vulnerable. We feel your pain, you know that.

Keep your great attitude. And give your docs hell

Hi Monique,

I was just thinking about you the other day.....wondering where you've been. Hope you are doing well! Sorry about the drama. But no MC issues....yay!! I have my D&C and conization on January 30th to find out if I have invasive cancer or not. Hoping it's "in situ" still. I have the ultrasound on my ovaries and tubes next week probably. I'm being positive though. I just needed some prayers from this fabulous group of people.

So you've been busy trying to find Mr. Right!? I do hope you don't have to kiss too many frogs! I wish you the best of luck. I should tell you about these books I'm reading....but I bet you can take a guess. lol!

And keep up that belly dancing! I wonder why it is that every time I start to commit to an exercise program, something medical happens and I can't. Arrggghhh! I'm hoping to be Zumba-ing again soon.

Take care!

PS: My GYN is a cutie, btw! Will never give him hell....lol! He's absolutely wonderful. Now my GI doctor, that's a whole other issue.

Hey Monique,
Don't give up hope on Match.com. I went on Match.com about 5 years after my first husband died. My kids were horrified.

After dating many, many frogs and taking myself off the site for a couple of months, I went back on the last few weeks that I had paid for. Sure enough, I met my Prince. He was the very last date I was EVER going to go on and he turned out to be husband number 2. Unfortunately, he passed away last year but I would have married him even if I had known we would only have 5 years together.

My youngest son has been divorced for 7 years and had given up on dating. Too many crazy ladies, according to him. He met someone about 6 months ago on Match.com and is planning on proposing. She lives about 2 1/2 hrs away so they have done a lot of driving the last 6 months but it was well worth the effort. Maybe you need to spread the "net" a little further.

So, NEVER give up hope. Yes, there are a lot of frogs but there are also some Princes and Princesses out there.

Sheila,

THANK YOU so much for your encouragement. You're right, I should pursue match.com because the alternative would be to never meet anybody since I work from home. And you found love again, how wonderful! and you had 5 years of happiness that you wouldn't have had otherwise.

And like you, I am a widow (so sorry for your loss). I am one for just 18 months too. Not enough to start feeling normal but I am taking the right steps. I was planning on giving up match.com the end of this month (I have a 3 months subscription) but I probably won't now. I need to give it more time...

Thanks again, Sheila.

Monique, You are so young to be a widow. I'm sorry for your loss.

Keep your sense of humor and an open mind while you're on Match.com. Some of the stories are hilarious in hindsight. Not so much at the time.

Tex! I am L O L!!!! So many frogs, so little princes!

I won't slip up I promise. I'll tell him that he has to have the approval of this posse of MC'rs. It has to be a unanimous vote! But first. let me find that Prince (slim pickings out there, I am afraid).

Terri, I hope you are feeling okay and aren't too anxious regarding your upcoming apt. And I hope everything turns out okay! When is your procedure scheduled for?

Hi Jennifer and thanks!

My surgery is scheduled for January 30th. I get an ultrasound of the ovaries next Tuesday. Luckily, my MC is under control or I'd be a wreck. I can only deal with one thing at a time.

Are you feeling any better?

Thanks Paula and Jane!

For some reason I got nervous today and while reading a book ate half a bag of Tostitos Naturals corn chips without even realizing it. Then I ate dinner early and wasn't even hungry. Within 20 minutes I started having lower abdominal cramping (never get that) and nausea...it hit me fast and hard! Gosh...haven't felt like that in ages. But no D! Not yet anyway. Currently sucking on a Pepto to avoid anything overnight hopefully. I can't believe how stupid I was to eat all that junk! I'm so ashamed. I could eat that way back when I was on Pepto every day but not a smart thing to do without it! Live and learn!!

I'll be glad when all this waiting is over. I guess deep inside me it's really bothering me. Trying to stay strong.

I hope the ultrasound testing goes O tomorrow. We all have our moments where we indulge in something that's a no-no. Hopefully you're over it by now. My prayers are with you.

Thank you Gloria! My pain only lasted 30 minutes then I was good as new. Will refrain from binging from now on.

I just got back from my ultrasound and uterus and ovaries look good. Thank goodness. Next week is my surgery. They wrote me a scrip for Ibuprofen but I won't be filling that. I will stick with the Vicodin but hopefully I won't need that either.
