Update on Oma!

Post by tex »

Hi all,

I just had a call from Oma, to give us an update on her condition.

She sounded great, and she said she's coming along fine, though she's currently having a little flare, which doesn't help anything, of course.

I got the impression that she wishes that it were healing faster, but I'm sure that everyone who has ever had that surgery has probably felt that way.

Anyway, she sounded as though she's in good spirits, and she has the situation under control.

Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I'm so happy Calamity is doing so well. Any news on when she will be on the board again?

Thanks for updating us.

Hi Oma

Post by Momster »

Thanks Wayne for the update - hope you're feeling better also.

Oma - when you get a chance and feel up to it, contact me and we'll talk.

I've been there and know exactly what you're going through. Be patient - it takes time but it will get better and you'll be so happy you got it done.
I can hardly wait to get my other knee done, but it won't be until 2007, which will give me a breather in 2006. Have to put up with the bum knee until then, but it gives the operated one time to gain more strength to hold it's weight and support me when I get the other one done.

Work hard on your physio - it will pay off in the long run - but also take time to rest and heal.

I'm thinking about you, my friend ((((((((((Oma))))))))))

Love - Momster

Thanks so much for the update and would also like to get her address for a card.

However, I am sure Wayne is not reading this to know I am thanking him.

Love, Maggie
