Good Morning, Everyone

Post by Momster »

Hope you are all doing well.

I just did a quick read of the latest posts before my day starts and nice to see you all.

I'm REALLY busy getting ready for the first craft sale which starts on Friday and goes all weekend at the church bazaar. It's a nice relaxed one though - we get to set up at our leisure on Thursday and can leave everything there over the weekend. Not like the usual rush to set up and pack up at the end of the day. John will be helping me so that will make it easier. Then off to the craft sale at Peg's work on Thursday and then ten days break until the next one.

My health seems to be holding up well (for me) and I'm taking lots of rests in between. Going for my flu shot today and John to see the Dr. about his blood pressure. I worry about him because the meds aren't regulating it and it goes up and down lots during the day. I've heard that's worse than a steady reading. Well, he's going to talk to the Dr. about it today and maybe try something else. He's real upset because the drug he's on right now affects his libido. That's hard on a man.

Anyway, better get some breakfast and get busy. We're almost finished renovating our ensuite and ran into a snag because the medicine cabinet has some huge scratches on it, so I'm taking it back after breakfast. John has finished everything else. I'm looking forward to doing the decorating as soon as he's done. It's in blue and white with silver fixtures.

Peg, so happy to see you back here and I know that's a good sign that you're feeling better. Love you a whole bunch and all the rest of you too.

I'll let you know how I do with my craft sale.

Im not always here, but always thinking of you, my friends.

Love - Momster

Momster,

It's so good to see you busily enjoying all of the activities that you wish to.

Good luck with the craft fairs. Knock 'em dead!

Love,

Polly

Hi Momster...good luck at the craft fair this weekend...let us know how it goes  Thanks for the great e-mail you sent me today! I didn't have time to respond....after work I slammed down a sandwich and headed to Vashon Island for a ski school meeting. I hope we get a good sign-up this year. I am also organizing a ski program for my school....looks like I have a small bus load already! I am going to be spending a lot of time up in the mountains this winter... TTFN...JJ

Hi Momster!

It's great to know you enjoy your hobby/crafts so much! Is it hard to sell them after all that hard work? Good luck at the show!

I hope John finds a solution to the high blood preasure, can be scary stuff! Plus, you sure don't feel good when it fluctuates so much.

Take care, talk to you soon!

I got everything set up today and now for a good rest and tomorrow it starts.

Talk to you over the weekend if I get a chance, but if not, will check in on Monday.

Hi Momster!

Thanks for the nice newsy update about what you've been up to. Fall is also super busy for me with shows almost every weekend. Set up, tear down, set up, tear down...it's tiring but I love the energy of the holiday craft events and networking with other "artists". There are so many incredible beaders and jewelery makers here and I simply can't resist buying a new bracelet or earings each weekend.

Someday, I'd like to learn beading, or basket making.

I hope it was a good weekend for you.

Love,
Joanna
