Emoticons

Post by Momster »

When I try to open the other emoticons, I get a message that "a pop up was blocked", but I turned off my pop up blocker, both in this site and Explorer. This happened once before.
Worked fine yesterday.

Thanks - Momster

Hi Momster,

You may just need to re-boot your computer. A lot of changes in browsers, and other applications, don't actually take place until the computer is re-booted.

Also, it's always a good idea to clear all the cookies from the cookie cache in your browser, anytime that you are having any type of problems with navigation on the board, since all the permissions in php code, are regulated by cookies, and if a cookie somehow becomes corrupted, it can cause all sorts of weird problems. Again, you may need to re-boot your computer, in order to get proper initialization for the change.

If neither of these suggestions corrects the problem, please let me know, and I will investigate the problem further.

You're always welcome,
Wayne

P S Do you by any chance have any other pop-up blockers on your computer that might be causing the problem? There are all sorts of applications with that option, these days, especially firewall and security applications. It's even possible that you might have downloaded one while downloading something else, without even being aware of it.
