Guess who called me???

Post by Polly »

OMA!

It was wonderful to hear from her. She stayed in the hospital 5 days and has been at her SIL's since (it's only 5 miles from her home). She should be returning home on Mon. and hopes to check in with us then. She gets PT 3 times a week. Other than lots of pain (managed with Lortab), it sounds as if she is coming along nicely. She is walking around some in the house.

The surgery ended up costing less than $9000 out of pocket. Whew! A lot better than the original $44,000 she was quoted.

Oma said to tell everyone that she misses them and that she could never have gotten through this without us. She said that whenever she has a rough patch, she thinks of all of us being there for her.

Won't it be great to have her back in the fold again?

Love,

Polly

 That's terriffic news. I can't wait 'till she's back and then all better. I'm so glad the cost wasn't as bad as first quoted also.

It will be so good to read her posts again.
